I'm a little curious about how much water is available in the area that is protected and how much of an impact it would make if it was available. I have had dealings with both water management specialists and also endangered species people and have found that they are the most narrow thinking people I've ever run into, at times there are simple solutions that would work to keep both sides happy when dealing with water shortage problems but these people seem to be unable to prioritise what is important and what is not.
