Ted Kennedy Celebrates 77th Birthday »
Posted By TimALoftis 8 months, 3 weeks ago in Political NewsSen. Edward M. Kennedy, D-Mass., who turned 77 today, was scheduled to spend his birthday "celebrating with a bunch of family and close friends" in Florida, according to his spokesman, Anthony Coley.
The Lion of the Senate plans to return to Washington in two weeks for a March 8th "musical tribute" at the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts.
He was in Washington last week to vote on President Obama's stimulus bill. However, he missed the final vote on the economic stimulus bill.
Coley says Senator Kennedy is as determined as ever to get to work on health care reform. "He sounds as strong as I have heard him sound," says Coley. Chair of the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pension, Kennedy has been preparing a health care bill. He's in even reportedly been involved in helping the White House find a new nominee for Secretary of Health and Human Services.

Teddy, was MaryJo Kapecknicy's Family invited to the birthday celabration? Oh, I forgot, Maryjo is very DEAD... Teddy may have saved her life but, he may have been too busy trying to dry out from the Boozw and Drugs?
