Binyam Mohamed: As I gain my freedom, I am determined that neither those who remain in detention, nor their abusers, are forgotten »
Posted By berkeley 9 months, 3 weeks ago in NewsI hope you will understand that after everything I have been through, I am neither physically nor mentally capable of facing the media on the moment of my arrival back to Britain . Please forgive me if I make a simple statement through my lawyer. I hope to be able to do better in days to come, when I am on the road to recovery.

I am quite sure there have been some mistakes. That, unfortunately, happens when you are at War. These below were not mistakes........ other than being released. Just who will stand up, take the blame and 'compensate' for these warriors?

The link below is to a report made to the Senate last year about the detainees at Gitmo. If you go there and read it, you will find that very few detainees there have anything to do with the war, with Al Queda, or the Taliban.

The Senate Report was compiled by a Professor Denbeaux of Seton Hall University from United States records on the people at Gitmo. Over 90% were at Gitmo because they were rounded up by warlords and sold to the Army for the bounty offered by Rumsfeld and the boys. There was no requirement to prove that they were ever on a battle field much less fighters against America.
I watched the Senate hearing live on C-Span. The report is 37 pages long and is footnoted for the pure researcher.

I believe that about 93 out of every 100 are completely innocent of any terrorist activity and I think in the report that only 24 were ever on a battle field of any kind - ever.
There are two camps at Gitmo: One for adults and one for children. All were bought for bounty.
Take time to read this Senate report to understand the depravity of the Bush Bunch.
