Listening to his speech was like taking a stroll in the twilight zone. I don't know who on earth he was talking about, but it certainly wasn't the GOP. They have offered NOTHING to resolve issues over many years, including health care. Matter of fact, they made costs worse by denying Medicare patients the opportunity to buy cheaper drugs through generic brands. Of course, that further erodes the social security fund.

They couldn't put anyone from mainstream GOP to make that ridiculous speech. The laughter would have drowned them out. I just looked at him and laughed, filing him in the dolt category. Because he's a relative unknown, I guess the GOP thought people would see him as separate from what the GOP has saddled us with. Didn't work with me.-

They might have put him on to show that there are minorities in the Republican Party. After watching the Rep convention last year there had to be doubts among the American public that there were any. (All I saw was old white farts)
