    Celine first began stalking me in 97;
    I was tired of the whole rock-and-roll lifestyle and told her I was finished; Sheryl Crowe, Alanis Morissette and I wanted to start a commune in Nebraska where we would play
    folk rock to the coyotes and build furniture out of Cactii.
    Cactie. Cactuses.

    After my people beat up her people she started phoning me late at night and singing her stuff from the Titanic movie,
    - which is really eerie late at night; no words, just this kind of wailing ghostly chord.

    I got a restraining order and she cut it out.

    Good post Jay. Do you think maybe you could get Celine to stalk me? I'm not all that choosy, I'll take that singer from Star, Mississippi, or maybe that Canadian Gal, what the heck, female singer will do, except not any that have live in girlfriends.

      i think this is like legalizing marijuana. i mean the stance we are taking is counter-productive.

      don't just legalize it and take the money away from the drug cartels to give to the government (in taxes). that is a waste.

      simply, deregulate it and let the tax-payers keep their money.

      lets not ask them to regulate more airwaves. i say we deregulate radio altogether. then talk shows and music would thrive.

          Art should not be a corporate tool. I remember in the early 90's when a whole new revolution in music was infused into the music industry. The age of Alternative music was born and helped to save a stale and dying industry. Radio needs that same kind of infusion to recapture audiences once again.
