Even conservative bloggers are upset with Jindal. Kathryn Jean Lopez writes at the Corner, “E-mails I’m getting are from disappointed conservatives. They wanted a full-throated response to Obama and expected and/or wanted more.” Ramesh Ponnuru called Jindal’s delivery “weak.” -

He remembers "going to the grocery store" with his dad? WTH was that? LMAO! Successful American dads don't take their kids to the grocery store? Those at the bottom of the ladder take their kids to the grocery store? What? He knew they had reached the American dream when he got older and his dad didn't take him to the grocery store? Oh geeze, my stomach hurts from laughing!

Well it is hard to be great when what you believe in has been shown to be a huge failure.

No one seems to want to say it !!!!
There are no talking points to highlight the successes of the Republican party over the last 40 years because they have just continually headed down the tube so to speak.
Reagan got his props because he was an actor who sold his bill of goods to Americans when they were desperate to get out of the financial disaster Carter inherited from Nixon and Ford.
So really what have the Greedy Old Perverts done except rob steal and lie. That they do well !!!
But ya know there is just very little tolerance for that now. People are geting wise to the lies.

You can't tell the homeless, the unemployed, the sick, that everything is fine and expect them to believe it while two wars are going on and the American economy is tanking..Like Obama said " I get it " and so did millions of other people. -

what are you people afraid of?
its almost -i say almost- a clinical demonstration of paranoia that you focus on any threat. i howl with laughter watching you clowns line up and take shots at Palin.
how's about we all focus on solutions? i know its boring and not as much fun as dragging down your competition, but, there it is...
sorry to be a wet blanket. but then, not really.-

You have to remember the DNC as a whole has no concept of how to actually do anything. Most of their heroes are former hippie leaders from the 60's. If they're not protesting or blaming everything on America they don't know what to do. -

You are a hoot! The house and senate republicans are playing obstructionists and then saying the same line you just spewed. Keep vomiting up party line rhetoric, but don't expect anyone with intelligence to buy what you're selling... -

I listened to both speeches. The delivery by President Obama was great, the substance could have been put together by a 5th grader. Governor Jindal didn't deliver the speech well but the substance was exactly what needed to be said.

This is just another example of the Left Wing Media attack Dogs. Palin is still in the news even after 4 months of after the election. Now Jindal might be a candidate so he's in their sights now.-

LOL, Palin is in the news because the media we're stuck with is nothing more than a copy of the likes of the National Enquirer. They have no substance. Just innuendo, gossip, and other frivilous silliness. -

"This is just another example of the Left Wing Media attack Dogs"...Care to compare attacks..BB..want to start with the attacks on Max Cleland a few years back..A man that lost three limbs in service to this country but was atacked and called unpatriotic by the rights attack dogs...Come on,talk about fifth graders..Your party is filled with some of the lowest life forms on this planet, but yet you follow them...
BTW...i still can't get past your comment the other day about how the economy isn't as bad as they tell us crap...That is exactly why you and the morons like you become less relevant every day...no touch with reality,or concern for this country or it's citizens. -

Ummmmmmmmmmm !!!!!!! He really didn't say much worth listening to. But then again we are speaking about the party that rallied around the dunderheaded Bush.
See. I think Jindal delivered the speech like a fifth grader. Not quite sure of what is right or wrong just hoping to get passing marks to move up to the next level. Haahahaahaahaaaa
Of couse with GOP that is not hard. Come on Sarah "I can see Russia from my house, so that qualifies me in foreign relations." Palin

I felt like some weird incarnation of Mister Rogers was trying to sell the same failed laissez-faire economics that got us into this mess in the first place. All they believe in are tax cuts. It's the same Grover Nordquist "drown the government in the bathtub" philosophy they ALL adhere to like it is gospel! I tell ya, if I were a resident of New Orleans (or Ray Nagun, who I do not much care for....BUT) I would be p***ed.

No, thanks! We've had enough! President Obama is take a page right out of the FDR playbook. We need to get credit flowing again. We need the jobs this will create. We NEED transparency.
And if someone like T. Boone Pickens can make private enterprises out of the green collar economy, we'll be on our way. If we do this right, we'll all be successful and America will be writing its next chapter... -
