When I used to be in germany a lot in the 80's and 90's, I never had any problems with girls there. They were all pretty, easy, and spoke english well for the most part. Most of the girls I knew lived at a place called "OnBaß", which I figured was in east germany, since I could never go there.-

Natürlich können Sie immer einige Deutsche finden, die gehemmt werden. Wenn Sie in diesem Land schauen, können Sie dieselben Hemmungen in Amerika finden.

Lived in Germany for 5 years in the 70's. German girls were COLD FISH! I traveled throughout Europe during this time. ONLY in Germany could I not score with the local biotches. The British girls were the hottest and easiest! Go figure, eh?

I suppose if you asked this question of the average citizen on the street these answers might make sense. But if it was later in the abend in the clubs sex would likely be first on the list. From my numerous visits IMO it would be very difficult to say that Germans have less of an interest in sex than Americans. A different culture perhaps but they certainly appear to have far fewer sexual hangups than Americans. Perhaps that would explain why it might be less prevalent in conversation?

Germany is beautiful and the German people are wonderful people. Don't think all that Holocaust greatly exagerrated propaganda involved the great bulk of the very decent German population. Hitler's party came in for exactly the reasons that we just recently experienced, and his party was elected to 'clean house' (But, it was too nationalized, purged too much and carried too far) and then there were ideological agendas to be achieved. We are at "that" crossroad right now!

i disagree with the poll. In a recent survey involving air travel, it was said that germans are the flirtiest of travelers (in europe, i think). and swedes were the ones most likely to have sex onboard an airplane.

last year, i attended my uncle's wedding in germany (my mother is german) and the guests as well as the in-laws had no problem contributing their opinions on sex. "Sex ist gesund!" (sex is healthy). Though i'm guessing that the in-laws just really wanted to have a grandkid.
