Given the shenanigans that have come to light over the conservative state's elected officials, I'm not at all surprised. But this gave me a laugh; "The biggest consumer, Utah, averaged 5.47 adult content subscriptions per 1000 home broadband users;"

Comcast and General Motors, holder of Direct TV are the two largest "producers" of porn. America is an uptight country of voyeurs and sex in general. We are against gay marriage, by adultery is no big deal. Soft core porn, never to be seen on broadcast TV, but the explicit killing of people is great... Saving Private Ryan.

You look, you lust, and then you do whatever next, right? Victim-less? Not hardly. Many women who pose or participate in porn wind-up addicted to (hard) drugs, not to mention the easy-money lifestyle. They have some of highest infection rates of STD's. They sacrifice their "best" years before a camera emerging on the other end appearing many years older than their actual age with no skill, no resume, and no career. Wise proverbs say, "The eyes are the windows to the soul". Don't take my word for it; look into the eyes of any "sex" worker - they're as hollow as an abandoned well. Sad.
So, you think it's a harmless pastime or choice? Why not encourage your wife or even your daughter(s) to go into the business? Didn't think so. So why doesn't it bother you (equally) to gawk, oogle and lust over someone else's daughter? Just remember, she was someone's little baby at one time; full of hope, promise and some parents dreams for her.
Think about it the next time you're "surfing" porn. Your soul is rotting from the inside out. -

Yall should do yourselves a favor climb down off those high horses. Maybe the people in these states have less access to adult video stores so they get their porn elsewhere? Maybe they look at porn just as much as people in the more liberal states but due to the fact that they're more religious they're not as shameless and tend to keep it in the house instead of going out to purchase it in public?
