Dear Mr. President:
We, the undersigned, protest the bill that the Senate voted on recently which would allow illegal aliens to access our Social Security. We demand that you and all Congressional representatives require citizenship as a pre-requisite for social services in the United States.
We further demand that there not be any amnesty give n to illegal aliens, NO free services, no funding, no payments to and for illegal immigrants <mailto:comment@whitehouse.gov>>

Nope, I'm not signing it. I'd have gone along with the social security part, but then they had to stick in the crap about no 'free' services. That means a person in serious trouble could be denied care for a health problem. I'm not going to become that ugly, but ya'll carry on if that's your thing.

In California illegals get instate tuition if they have proof of residence.
But if you live in any other state you pay out of state fees to go to school in California. -

There are Federal laws which prevent it
ERs can't refuse emergency treatment
ER doctors who do can be prosecuted by the Feds and have their licenses taken away
The hospital involved can have all of their Federal funding stopped
Why do you think our ERs are packed with illegals - they know they can't be denied treatment whether it is a true emergency or not -

In anutshell, the amendment referenced above wasn't about "giving illegal aliens Social Security benefits," it was about whether formerly illegal aliens (who had since become legal) should be credited for monies they themselves had paid into the Social Security fund while they were in the U.S. illegally.
The amendment that would have given formerly illegal aliens credit for monies they paid into Social Security was tabled. -

When we have seen to ALL OF THE LEGITIMATE NEEDS of America's Citizens, then (and only then) can we in good conscience help the unfortunates of the world. I still see our homeless veterans living on the streets of our cities. That tells me that any funds the government is going to expend towards relieving want goes to them FIRST. Then we will consider others.
It is bad enough that we have formed our country into an UNCONSTITUTIONAL welfare state; but to do so and then see our generosity (TAXES) go to ILLEGAL INVADERS is adding INSULT TO INJURY. I've seen them "play-the-system", and it is not GRATITUDE from them I see and hear, but rather CONTEMPT for us being such "EASY MARKS", especially here in San Diego, California.
And just what is your "thing", jordon11? Keep dishing out our FINITE charitable resources until there is NOTHING LEFT for our truly needy? That's not charity, that's STUPIDITY! Every family worth the name takes care of its own FIRST. And every country not only should do the same, but it is a country's DUTY to its citizens to do so. I say again:

No, I am not talking about legitimate and law abiding immigrants. I AM referring to the sneaky snakes breaking and entering our home(land).
Stalemate, I agree, the full hand of the law should be brought against all who aid and abet this criminal activity. I also include in this group the public officials, the trustees of our public funds, who think they have the right to use our tax dollars to buy votes. -

Sorry, that's incorrect.
The national debt was $10.8 trillion when Obama took over. He has not doubled that. In fact, he could pass 13 more stimulus packages equal to the one from last week and still not double it.

When I see American citizens flocking to meat processing plants, cleaning hotel rooms, and picking lettuce in the hot sun, I might buy some of this anti-immigrant hysteria. Wanted: Some one willing to work for low wages, in hazardous conditions for long hours. Could be arrested without warning. Might not receive payment and won't have any recourse if stiffed. I think this is more about racism than economics.

Social Security Numbers are issued by the UN through the IMF. The Application for a Social Security Number is the SS5 form. The Department of the Treasury (IMF) issues the SS5 not the Social Security Administration. The new SS5 forms do not state who or what publishes them, the earlier SS5 forms state that they are Department of the Treasury forms. You can get a copy of the SS5 you filled out by sending form SSA-L996 to the SS Administration. (20 CFR chapter 111, subpart B 422.103 (b) (2) (2)
The IMF is an Agency of the UN. (Blacks Law Dictionary 6th Ed. Pg. 816)

The UN IMF stands for the International Monetary Fund.
The Department of the Treasury through the Internal Revenue Service has an IMF (Individual Master File) and the BMF (Business Master File), or in other words, records of taxpayers. Social Security numbers are issued by the Social Security Administration, not the Department of the Treasury, or Internal Revenue Service.
The IRS does, however, issue ITINs using the Form W-7. This is an Application for IRS Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (For use by individuals who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents). It is for Federal tax purposes only.
And yes, it does allow illegal aliens to file and many of them paying zero taxes to claim thousands of dollars ( per family) in "refunds" using the Child Tax Credit and the Additional Child Tax Credit. They can also go back and claim "refunds" for past years before they had the ITIN. (Within the three year statute limit for refunds.)
All Social Security Numbers are issued by the Social Security Administration.

America needs to understand there is a difference between illegal immigrants and legal immgrants. Legal immgrants want to come here to contribute, pay their taxes, share their knowledge, start businesses and become American citizens. Illegals are coming here illegally because they have so many unmet basic needs housing, food, healthcare it is impossible for them to think about what is in Ameicas best interest they are too focused on their own survival. Americans are generous people but our generosity needs to start at home. Until all Americans have their basic needs met housing, food, education and healthcare it is unfair to open the doors to illegals. And we shouldn't shut the door on foreigners who have something to contribute without unmet needs either.

This is a bogus chain letter. No illegal immigrants are going to get social security money. Notice that the letter never referenced a bill number. I see how these Nigerian scammers are so easily able to bilk people for billions of dollars a year. They don't research!
