Many of them do not know historical facts about their own country, not to mention history of other countries.

Grew up In Brooklyn. Joined the Navy in 1976 stayed in 10 years. Aircraft Electronics tech. Worked for Major Govt. contractor then settled in California ...

The Revolutionary War was a fraud. The King of England financially backed both sides of the war.

Looks like an article written by an envious Russian. I've been to Russia a few times. Sort of reminds me of Texas, everything is bigger and better.

The author is right about Americans not knowing much about their own history, but the author is no better.
The Russians need to realize the cold war is over. They lost. But they keep up the propaganda. The stories I've heard about America in Moscow are shocking. Not just the stories but the fact that so many actually believe them.
They have Pravda we have Fox news so maybe things aren't so different after all.
