Porn in the USA: Conservatives are a bunch of hypocritical perverts »
Posted By Radiofreeeuropa 11 months, 2 weeks ago in NewsStates that consume the most porn tend to be the more conservative and religious states. States with lower levels of consumption are typically the more liberal ones, the study finds.
The people who are most outraged turn out to be consumers of the very things they claimed to be outraged by.

Frustrated conservatives, porn, and puritanism run together and deep in our nation. Tight-assed reactionaries spanking the monkey online while preaching the gospel of holiness is a common practice. But when they get caught with their Johnsons in the jelly jar, how they cry for forgiveness to God and family for their hypocritical protestations. -

Drug Lamebaugh, the closet homosexual with his receptive a******** bleeding cyst, is the poster child for the repugnicon obstructionist party. Drug Limpbaugh, is gay as a pink leather pinata.

Political commentator, radio host, college drop-out, alleged
Reply
closet homosexual, and, as recently revealed, synthetic heroin
drug addict, Rush Hudson Limbaugh III is probably the best
known neocon personality in American radio.
Born in Cape Girardeau, MO, in 1951, Limbaugh spent many of
his formative years pursuing a career in radio.
After using his pilonidal cyst - a congenital birth defect - to avoid military service in the Vietnam War, Limbaugh briefly
worked for radio stations in Pittsburgh, PA and Kansas City,
MO. Fired from both jobs, he worked as a wiener salesman for
the KC Royals baseball franchise, eventually slithering back into the radio business. -

Many of Limbaugh's fans staunchly deny the man's alleged
Reply
homosexuality, and Limbaugh himself says the rumors are
politically motivated lies. However, one is forced to doubt
Limbaugh, who has a history of denying and balking at rumors
that are later revealed to be true. His pilonidal cyst, his
pseudonymous career in Pittsburgh radio, and his addiction to
Oxycontin are all facts which Limbaugh initially denied or
concealed. -

After miserably failing on television, Limbaugh spiraled into
Reply
depression, eventually becoming addicted to pain pills
prescribed to him for his pilonidal cyst (a.k.a. "Butt Boil"). For nearly eight years Limbaugh abused Hydrocodone, a synthetic, stronger version of heroin.
In effect, Limbaugh spent nearly a decade stoned off his
bleeding backside, and ultimately built up his tolerance to levels requiring dozens of pills per day in order to, as Limbaugh once confided in his maid, "get my buzz on." -

By late 2003 the whole world knew of Limbaugh's drug
Reply
addiction, though by virtue of their lack of character the
majority of his fan base remained loyal listeners. Limbaugh's
show remained popular, despite the rapid rise of Liberal Talk
Show host Al Franken and the dogged attempts by the Bush
administration to shut down long time talk show staple Howard
Stern.
In May 2004 Rush's third wife, Marta, grew tired of never
having sex with her allegedly closeted homosexual of a
husband, and so asked for a divorce. Limbaugh complied after his desperate wife agreed to never reveal the true nature of Rush's sexual perversion. -

According to the 2000 census, there are over three times as many people living in urban areas than in rural ones in the U.S.

So your 38% more porn subscription in urban areas figure, when divided out per capita, actually supports the proposition that there are more porn subscriptions in rural areas than in urban ones.
By the way (and this part is not meant to dispute you--yet, I'm just curious): Where did you get your stats about the 65% decrease in subscriptions for every one percent increase in marriage, and your numbers about how many subscriptions are bought in San Francisco and Jackson, Mississippi? They're not in the PDF of the study linked to in this article. -

When you analyse the data, the demographics don't play out. For example, adult entertainment subscriptions are 38% more prevalent in urban areas (where the liberals mostly are) than in rural areas (where the conservatives tend to be).
Reply
Also, when marriage is championed, which conservatives tend to do, a 1% increase in marriage rates is associated with a 65% reduction in subscriptions.
Conversely, look at the rates in Utah, which is a polygamist state (for the most part) and it's rates are through the roof. As well as downtown San Francisco (the second highest subscription rate; second only to Jackson MS of all places)
These are real numbers as well, so the argument can be made in both directions. Bottom line, read the data. Not the scriblings of some ignorant journalist. -

Why do you guys need to post this same retarded "study" 2 days in a row? Since the comments on here are the exact same as the ones yesterday my comment wont change either.
Reply
Yall should do yourselves a favor climb down off those high horses. Maybe the people in these states have less access to adult video stores so they get their porn elsewhere? Maybe they look at porn just as much as people in the more liberal states but due to the fact that they're more religious they're not as shameless and tend to keep it in the house instead of going out to purchase it in public?
Maybe your hatred for republicans is so deep that you look for the most retarded of "studies" to try and vilify your political opponents.
Oh, if any of you guys on here who that think this is just great look at porn too than you are hypocrites!-

It's only hypocritical when those who rail against the indecency of pornography (or extramarital or homosexual sex) also use it.

I can't speak for anyone else who has commented, but that's what bothers me when members of the religious Right are caught in sex scandals.

It's an interesting story. Could it be that the conservatives aren't as conservative as you or they would like to think? Or could it be the liberals living in the same communities simply buying more because of the suppressive nature of the communities they live in?

When living in Texas, I was less than a 1/4 mile from a dry county. Big Southern Baptist area. My front lawn faced the main highway into that area. Every time I did my lawn I couldn't figure out why there were so many empties dumped along the road. My neighbors filled me in that many of the bible thumpers from the neighboring county. They dumped the empties as they drove home, thinking God wouldn't catch on to this... It ended when I placed signs claiming I was video tapping them and would post them on line with their names and addresses. Was it a case of people with problems or problem people living in the "wrong" community? Don't know. But this would make an interesting study.

The conclusions of the article are simply not supported by the data. In fact there is such a small margin between the highest and lowest subscription rates among states, it would be hard to draw ideological causation.

There's enough wrong with some aspects of right-wing ideology without having to resort to this sort of grasping at straws. -

I think the problem in a lot of cases is that where it's taught to be more prudish, sexual inhibition rises. That causes a rise in porn usage. Any guy that's getting it regular and is married to a decent woman has no need for porn. If they do, then there is some other psychological problem there.

And just who did not know this?? Come on, those who protest the loudest are the deepest into it! But , just try to get a conservative admit that. I don't think Ted Haggard is the exception to the rule: just take a look at Jeff Gannon in the Bush Whitehouse, for starters.

This is either purposely misleading or written with absolute ignorance. First off your attempts to slander conservatives and churchgoers is very obvious, secondly look at what you are saying conservatives BUY more porn. I may only be a high-school senior, but I believe I can deduct more about that fact than the author of this story. (Also just a quick fact Montana is conservative seems contradictory for such a broad claim doesn't it.) There is free P O R N out there meaning you don't have to BUY it. By the tone of your article you make it seem as if conservatives are sick minded sex animals that watch more porn than anyone else, but in fact you can't even come close to deducting such a ludicrous fact. Where are the statistics for free P O R N? Does your article even mention the possibilities for a second view such as the one above? If you are going to make such allegations than perhaps I should make a few of my own. Liberals don't pay for their porn. Liberals don't go to church considering you seem to group all church goers as conservatives. Liberals are all grossly offended by porn. Think before you attempt to slander on such ridiculous terms. Also I had write P O R N because it kept blanking my words out.
