RNC Chairman Steele Backs Down To Limbaugh »
Posted By TimALoftis 11 months, 2 weeks ago in Political NewsWell that was quick. Almost as soon as the sun rose this morning, Michael Steele was in damage control mode, hoping to prevent the fallout from his Saturday evening criticisms of Rush Limbaugh.
.
Now, just a few hours later, Steele is on his knees begging forgiveness from Rush Limbaugh, aka the GOP's real chairman.

Drug Limpbaugh, the three times divorced, closet homosexual, porcine, racist, uneducated college dropout, draft dodging, an-al cyst sporting coward and couch potato chicken hawk drug addict is the defacto brains and test- icles of the republican party.

Steele: “My intent was not to go after Rush – I have enormous respect for Rush Limbaugh....I was maybe a little bit inarticulate. ... There was no attempt on my part to diminish his voice or his leadership.”

Ah, yes: the voice of leadership. How scary it must be to realize you might have offended the hand that feeds you, so to speak.
But maybe Rush is the de facto head of the Republican party right now. -

As I posted on another story about this incident:

You have to wonder about both political parties
The Republican message was smaller govt and less spending. All was cast aside by Bush and the Republicans in Congress
As a result funding raising by the RNC fell as people who support smaller govt and less spending refused to contribute to the RNC
Now Steele looks like he is following the same path
What is the message of the Republican party?
When there is no message coming out of the Republican party, others will step in to fill the void
Lashing out at Limbaugh is ridiculous and will get the RNC more of the same - difficulty fund raising
Look at the Democrats. Love or hate Howard Dean, what did he accomplish - increased fund raising and more Democrats elected to Congress. Success by anyone's standards
But now what - Dean is cast aside because he is not close to Obama and it seems that Dean and Emanuel don't like each other
Both parties are self-destructive due to the egos involved
You just have to shake your head in wonder as they continue along not realizing they are on their way into oblivion - an oblivion each deserves in my opinion -

This only goes to prove just how corrupt the mainstream media is.

RUSH Clearly said this.
If Obama is going to turn America into a Socialistic state, then Rush does not support Obama to do that.
That's clearly what Rush said. But, the media is spinning it that Rush simply said he does not support Obama. Hey Media F-U! -

Please follow his leadership.. while he has a HUGE audience for radio.. 20 million or so.. THAT AIN'T NEARLY ENOUGH TO GET ANYONE ELECTED. IF ALL OF HIS LISTENERS ARE IN LOCK STEP....-

Ya gotta love this, it definitely shows the shape the GOP is in. That they would apologize to someone like Rush indicates the definite lack of leadership in that party. It appears the guy who is suppose to lead the GOP is afraid of an entertainer who is a drug user (gee I cant remember the last time he called for mandatory jail time for ANY drug user, oh yeah I remember before he was found out to be a drug user) liar and who called any soldier who disagrees with Iraq a trator and not a true soldier (that from soneone who had an ass pimple as an excuse to stay out of the Army).

Interesting point, dk.

Perhaps the Republican Party is trying to learn from the Japanese Liberal Democrat Party (LDP) model, whereby quality of leadership is irrelevant and electoral victory depends, in perpetuity, upon successfully painting the opposition as less capable than themselves at holding the reigns of power.
Expect to see this strategy employed at the next election.

Rush loves Obama. Bush - perhaps the worst President in history - made it hard for Limbaugh to build money, ratings, and power like he is doing now. He is merely inert gas Rushing in to fill a void. Everything he says is the polar opposite of what he practices. He is the sad clown in the circus ring before the elephants start the parade.
