    Good article STONERS. During the first 20 - 30 minutes of exercise, glycogen is the primary fuel source, so you don't burn significant amounts of fat until glycogen stores are depleted. So yes, 30 minutes of aerobic activity will give you cardiovascular benefits, but you will burn very little fat.
