I don't trust you to keep anything real...The poll says that as of today 58 percent approve (of which 42 percent strongly approve) and 40 percent disapprove (of which 27 percent strongly disapprove). You were excited that the prospect of bi-partisanship is dimming. What you fail to realize is that the lower Republicans ratings get, the worse next years' bloodbath is going to be. Cons keep looking at the *overall* approval rating for the Democratic Congress and that's one of your fatal flaws. When the public is unhappy that Congress isn't getting stuff done and they know it's because of Republicans, don't act surprised when there are way fewer Republicans in the Senate next year. Don't act surprised at all. ;-P

Thanks, Wolfie, I figured some befuddled con who has a sad, lonely hamster on a wheel for brainpower would be stymied by a couple of quotation marks and you showed up right on cue. ;-P

"But what about earmark-addicted Republicans, who oversaw an unprecedented explosion of earmarks when they controlled Congress, resisted efforts by Obama and other Democrats to inject accountability into the earmark process, and even grabbed over 40% of the earmarks in the current bill, yet have the gall to blast Obama's cave-in? Even John McCain, the leading crusader against earmarks, who railed against Obama's acceptance of the spending bill on the Senate floor this week, made exceptions during his presidential campaign for earmarks for Israel and military housing, as well as a ferry service for an impoverished Alabama town he visited over the summer."

Here is middle man doing it again. Bashing the Republicans about their spending. What is Obama doing? Making what the Bush administration did look like chump change. That faux stimulus package was mostly pork. Less that 15% will be spent this year and mostly for repair projects. After that the money went to Democrat pet projects. As Rham Emanuel said, "You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before." That is what that bill was all about. Then comes this bill with 9000 pieces of pork attached and Obama just ignores it trying to say it is from the past. The problem is Bush will not sign it but Obama will.

Where is your rants about the huge $2 trillion deficit that Obama is promising. How does sucking money out of the market place by deficit spending help the economy? You ranted long and hard about the average $200 billion Bush deficit. Where is your rant about this deficit that makes the Bush deficit look like chump change? HYPOCRITE!!!-

---Now you're really losing it, Endo. Cons re-elected Bush in 2004 after that disgraceful clown RUINED our economy with 9/11, two wars, and reckless tax cuts for the ultra wealthy. Now that Obama's in charge of the rollercoaster, cons are crying, wetting their panties and pleading for the ride to end. Yeah...You're credible, cons. ROTFLMAO ;-)
