"I don't want to hear anymore [sic] language trying to be cool about the bling in the stimulus package or appealing to D.L. Hughley and blacks in a way that isn't going to win us any votes and makes us frankly appear to many blacks as quite foolish," Fisher wrote.

Boy, he messed with the wrong person when he messed with with Limbaugh. -

I can see why there might be some motivation for this.

After all, when he apologized to Rush Limbaugh ... he very clearly indicated who he considered the main spokesperson of The Modern Republican Party to be.
I figure, why play games ... Rush Limbaugh is the Leader of the GOP ... Michael Steele is an empty suit.

Fisher announced her support for South Carolina chairman Katon Dawson in his bid for the head of the national party, despite a controversy over his membership in a country club that doesn't admit blacks.

Now she has criticized another candidate for the top post, Chip Saltsman, for distributing a CD as a Christmas gift that included a song by Rush Limbaugh called "Barack the Magic Negro."
"Racist actions and deeds have no place in the party," she wrote in an open letter to Saltsman. "The lack of sensitivity in understanding the historical election we just had and the challenges this nation faces as we must bind our wounds as well as bring our people together requires that we set aside our biases and search out those constitutional principles inherent in our nation's foundings and our parties operation which must undergrid us as we move forward."
She herself is receiving a lot of flack from conservatives for her attack on Saltsman. It looks like she's trying to get back in good graces with the conservatives in her party.

Why are we giving a clown this much attention? He's a talk show host people. If the republican party wants to follow him - so be it! Imagine what that's going to look like in the history books of the future.

Let's see. Rush with uncharacteristic humility says he is not a "leader" of the Republicans.
Reply
Yet when the chairman of the RNC criticizes Rush, it brings up a firestorm from the rank and file Reps. Rush also thunders that "His Republicans" will not contribute if Steele comes calling.
Well, if it quacks like a duck and walks like a duck, it must be the leader elephant. -

Now if they can only get the rest of those who presented the 40 percent of the pork projects to leave and at the same time all those on the dem side also then we would begin real change. Sadly we would have only about 3 still in office.

I'll try to make this easy to understand. This kind of talk is designed to do one thing. Divert your attention away from the worsening economy. It gets worse the more the current Congress tries to do. To help refocus your attention on something else, the MSM starts bloviating about Rush and Michael Steele to try to keep your mind away from your wallet. Propaganda 101 they call it in the newsrooms.

What wallet? The wallet that allowed Republicans that funded a war without actually adding it to the budget? The wallet that people were holding on to in the value of their houses that is shockingly less? Or the wallet that took a pounding when gas was 5 dollars a gallon? Or the wallet containing 401K portfolios that just took a good cleaning?
