The research, conducted by a psychologists at the University of South Florida actually confirms the findings of other studies that shows that beautiful women have a hard time being taken seriously in the work place. Just how did the researchers arrive at the conclusion that Palin's good looks turned out to be more of a hindrance than a help in terms of winning in November?

She's pretty, in a country kindergarden teacher kind of way..

But I suspect it was her stupidity that scared people away more than her being pretty.

She's not beautiful. Maybe she could have been but after she opened her mouth at the Republican convention I could never be attracted to her. Well, maybe for a night if I was drunk. Ann Coulter is in the same catagory but I'd have to be drunk enough to not see the adams apple.

Never thought that she was physically attractive so that wasn't the reason I didn't take her seriously ... the statements coming out of her mouth had more to do with that.

          FTA:

"Those who wrote about Palin's appearance were more positive in their assessments than those who assessed her qualities as a person."

How do the authors of this study deduce from this "that beautiful women have a hard time being taken seriously in the work place"? Seems to me that it's more like saying, "Dance 3, looks 10".
