This is not acceptable. I was amazed how the officers said " he is not muslim he is one of us" Unacceptable, USA needs to first teach their officers how to respect every race and everyone. For love of god what is wrong to be muslim.

Mr. Fortunato started the Muslim thing not the agents. Trying to justify his actions. He didn't comply and he was dealt with. What I expect my border security to do.

Nowhere did it state that he has had this problem before. It state that he has had to deal with boarder patrol agents plenty of times, but no where did it state that he had suffer from this kind of abuse anywhere. You might have a better chance reading the story better next time if you head wasnt up your anus.

“He said 'get out of the car or I spray you' and ... I thought he was just trying to scare me off or something and I was pepper sprayed from a foot or two away.”

And this is where it all started. Somehow it sounds like there is something leading up to this point which for some reason seems to have been omitted from this article.
I feel confident in saying the conversation did not start with him being asked to exit the vehicle as I am confident he had already been asked at least once prior to being told to get out of the car or I spray you.
Talk about someone having their head up their anus, If you don't see something very strange with this story as it's being told I do beleive I know where your head is at the moment.-

which has no leverage or proof in the story.
Im not asking you guys with your head in your anus to pull your heads all the way out. Just out enough so you can hear and read the story. I am sure you like the smell.

People without manners **** me right off!
The cop in the article needs a good bust in the chops.
Hiding behind a badge to get by with mistreating people is abuse of authority and just flat out chicken!@#$.

For factual accuracy I'm compelled to point out they never actually said that.

“Their shields dropped slightly down. It was like you know: OK he's a Westerner, OK he's not a Muslim, OK he's a Christian, he's one of us. That's what I read [from them].”
He read it in their body language. It may or may not have been there.
On another note, this is reprehensible. A person can be polite and firm. -
