    You're not being paranoid, Gehl. This discussion is already going on about all sorts of other diseases for which science knows the markers, but doesn't have cures. Now, we can add one more to the list.

    The insurance are using all sorts of irrelevant info to set rates &/or deny coverage - e.g., credit scores - so why not this?

    Of course, one of the problems I really foresee is that pretty soon I'm afraid we may not even know that we're getting tested. Who knows what tests they will run on our blood when it is taken for "regular" purposes. That's one reason I'm so dead-set against a national medical data-base.
