Obama's backsliding on torture »
Posted By berkeley 10 months ago in Political NewsPresident Obama inherited a human rights debacle of epic proportions. One of his earliest acts, during his very first hours in office, was to signal a change of policy by ordering the closure of Guantánamo. Well listen to the liberals rant. Ignore the deficit but go after this one. What do you think happens when someone become president. They have sworn to protect and defend the constitution and this country. Then he gets a lot of briefings and information that others do not get. So then he has to make these kinds of decisions. Seems like Bush was doing the right things after all. Remember all of the rants about Bush? Are they going to start again about Obama? Or are the liberals just a bunch of hypocrites on this topic like on the deficit.-

And I notice that if that party doesn't live up to these high standards ... Liberals tend to voice their disapproval.
I find this refreshing.
Especially considering that The Modern Republican in America seems to have drunk a gallon of Kool-Aid and supports literally EVERY word and every deed done by Republican Legislators ... for no other reason than these supporters are Champions for Republicanism.
Wow ... that's really pathetic.
