This is What A Collapse Looks Like »

Some of you may not realize that Argentina, a country rich in natural resources with a generally well-educated population, has undergone an economic collapse since 2001.

The primary reasons for this collapse are corrupt politicians, and fraudulent banking institutions that colluded to put the country into massive DEBT!

It is true that Argentina is much smaller than the United States, so I am not trying to say this is a perfect parallel to our current situation. What I am saying is that the root cause of our troubles appear to be similar to Argentina’s.

I am presenting for you three short clips from a documentary (there are 12 in total, but you need only watch the first three to get the idea) that graphically details what an economic and banking collapse looks like.

My theory on a ruler who refuses to change courses even though he is watching his country crumbling around him is this.... He is filling his pockets full, and isn't going to stop, therefore he's not going to change the course of his government because that would mean his hayday is over. I think that's what W and Cheney did here and they probably weren't all.
Funny how this is happening all over the world though, the euro is losing value, the dollar is useless and Argentina is in a deep depression although they are rich in natural resources, almost like our world leaders were in cahoots to destroy the whole freaking world!

"Can you kill a whole country because you were ordered to?" That question gave me the chills. Of course they could. Of course they would. Welcome to the future?

The upside is with a wave of factory closings, Argentine workers have been seizing and occupying the factories and reopening them as worker-run businesses, quite successfully. More than 400 factories and 12,000 workers now autonomous.

Lets hope that we have the stones do that in the US.
