Speaking on the Glen Beck radio show, Mr. Norris promised to run for president of Texas, if "things get any worse." According to the martial artist, Texas would be the optimal leader in a secession from the US, claiming that Texas was not formally part of the union in the first place. A live telecast, "We Surround Them", is scheduled for March 13th, to protest the current state of affairs in America.

Alan Keyes back in February called for the military to refuse to obey orders from the President. Stormfront.org threatened a rebellion against the government on Dec. 27, 2008 if Obama got elected. Has it been postponed? Is there a conspiracy to overthrow the government of the United States by right wing extremists?

Over the weeken,I heard someone from the right claim that our country's handling of Social Security funding was justification for dodging taxes. What I can't seem to get anyone from the right to explain to me is why they want to revolt *now* instead of back in '04 when Bush was well on his way to record spending and record big government.

We'll keep the capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies, Wal-Mart and Wall Street. You can have your beloved homeless, homeboys, hippies and illegal aliens. You keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms, greedy CEO's and rednecks. We'll keep the Bibles and give you NBC and Hollywood.
You can make nice with Iran and Palestine and we'll retain the right to invade and hammer places that threaten us. You can have the peaceniks and war protesters. When our allies or our way of life are under assault, we'll help provide them security. -

Check your history and I don't mean the lies they taught you in high school. Texas and the other Confederate States of America can legally revolt since they were forced to rejoin the Union at gunpoint. The Supreme Court ruled after the War of Northern Aggression that the Southern States had the right to secede. Hence making it an illegal war waged by the Northern States. Abraham Lincoln was the Tyrant.

I do agree with you on some of your points. I didn't like Bush all that much either and I am a republican. But, I think this administration is doing far more to harm this country in the 55? days Mr. Obama has been in office than Bush did. Cap and Trade?!? How are people who don't have a job or anybody supposed to pay higher utility bills, nationalized healthcare does not work, card check will kill any surviving businesses, our grandchildren are going to have to pay for this enormous debt...Throwing money at something does not fix the problem. I didn't like Bush but what we have is far worse. I am not a violent person either, but if I had to fight for our Constitutional rights over socialism, I choose our constitution and I would fight. The second amendment is the reset button for our government. This is the peoples right to prevent oppression and socialism and keep the government in check. (In my opinion) And the first amendment is being wiped out by card check. I want Mr. Obama to succeed. I really do. Our country needs him to succeed. I do not want Mr. Obama's policies to succeed...health care, card check, more bail-outs, cap and trade. I want Mr. Obama to concentrate on putting people back to work in the PRIVATE sector...not creating more government jobs, and focus on our national economy and not create more debt. I want him to do these things first...then discuss other issues.

Wrong - Texas became a state in 1846. The "secession" bs comes from the notion that in joining the U.S., Texas could opt out at a future date if desired as Texas was a Republic from 1836 to 1846. I suspect the main reason for joining had to do with protection from a potential invasion from Mexico. -

Thanks Jovial. Norris' rants remind me of the mentality of party first dogma. That the Republican party is out to lunch is no surprise to me. That's why I've been calling for their demise. Not by force, as Norris advocates the removal of Obama, but by shunning them. If you never vote for a Republican Candidate again, you won't have to ever again put up with the Republican Party. They will just dry up and blow away.

I agree, we need to abolish the current system pretending to be our government, but we also need to hunt down, arrest and prosecute the guilty morons behind the proverbial curtain - namely the Rothschild's and anybody connected with them, up to and including the bitch - I mean Queen of England. If we're going to go after the real terrorist of this world it can't stop at just those within the ranks of this phony government - it has to be an on-going, diligent quest to get them all wherever they be. We have to teach our children and they their children to forever remain diligent of New World Order types and to never allow a central bank to control this country's currency ever again. I don't know if an armed revolt is the answer. It may be unavoidable - I personally hope so, but the fact remains we Americans cannot afford to do nothing anymore. We are the last bastion of retaining liberty not just for ourselves, but the world. As America goes, so goes the world. We have allowed tyranny to sink its corrupt, infected claws into the body of our freedom. We can't allow that poison to effect our spirit. When conservatives lose fair and square, they want to resort to cheating. Like Goppy said, "To be a Neoconservative in this country is to be morally vacant." They can't come up with a way to win politically so they want to use what has worked for them since these neocons took over. Violence and military action is their modus operandi. They think that the solution to all of their problems is applying liberal amounts of violence.
