We will continue to lose vital translators, medics, and other combat ready soldiers and sailors due to this ridiculous policy. Our allies in Europe have openly gay soldiers serving in the military. We have no reason to keep openly gay soldiers out of the military other than pure bias and prejudice.

It depends on how gays act in their roles,i know gay men i wouldn't want to tangle with who maintain composure in many jobs,but then again we have the peacocks who go out of their way to make sure everyone takes notice that they are gay,these people disrupt others and lack the discipline to be professional and conduct themselves in a proper manner!
