Actually one word. Cheney. Earlier this afternoon I made reference to these prisons in another thread currently active here on propeller. Thanks you Albmore.

Actually many of these were built per Cheney's direction by KBR a Halliburton Subsidiary. The Contract was for $357 million and seems that I remember that the capacity of the ones Cheney had built was about 2 million detainees total.
They are still empty so I'm not sure whether we missed the bullet by electing Obama instead of McCain or whether we still have to worry about Obama.
These prisons fit very nicely with Bush Directive 51. Anybody know if Obama has canceled that one yet? Its the one where Bush gave himself dictatorial powers if he declared an emergency. -

We are dangerously close to a situation where ~ if the American people took to the streets in righteous indignation or if there were another 9/11 ~ a mechanism for martial law could be quickly implemented and carried out under REX 84.
The Cheney/Bush administration has a plan which would accommodate the detention of large numbers of American citizens during times of emergency.
The plan is called REX 84, short for Readiness Exercise 1984. Through Rex-84 an undisclosed number of concentration camps were set in operation throughout the United States, for internment of dissidents and others potentially harmful to the state.
The Rex 84 Program was originally established on the reasoning that if a "mass exodus" of illegal aliens crossed the Mexican/US border, they would be quickly rounded up and detained in detention centers by FEMA.
Existence of the Rex 84 plan was first revealed during the Iran-Contra Hearings in 1987, and subsequently reported by the Miami Herald on July 5, 1987
" These camps are to be operated by FEMA should martial law need to be implemented in the United States and all it would take is a presidential signature on a proclamation and the attorney general's signature on a warrant to which a list of names is attached."
And there you have it ~ the real purpose of FEMA is to not only protect the government but to be its principal vehicle for martial law."

I agree and Obama has NOT metioned anything about these camps. I really think Americans need to stop sitting still and start demanding answers. Problem is from what I have read, these camps are ready for business NOW. If a civil unrest starts because of the financial situation they can start tomorrow. At the same time OUR government is in a spend,spend spend motus. I begining to think the entire collaps was planned.

Thank you Grandpa. Although REX 84 started way back The chiller for me was the Bush Directive 51 and the establishing of a group to study the seining of the Internet to identify people to be put on the list for their ideology. That means "thought police" to me.

Sandmonster- I am with you. I try to be a rational guy and hear all sides. I do not believe ALL the conspir. people say. What I do believe though their are alot of unanswered facts. I also believe BOTH parties are working for the same end goal and its against the people of the US. The last spending Bill should show that. 60% to 40% in spending. Of couse the dems has to take the lead as the majority party. I believe Obama was picked by both parties then they saw many would follow him blindly and it was easier to bring the wonders under the carpet. Bush has silently slipped away and people will give him the blame for whats happening and not hold Obama accountable for whats comming. This, Fema prisons, Russia movong closer, the falling dollar, more spending, uncontrolled immigration, closing gitmo, US military training for unrest inside the US, foriegn forces already training on US soil are just a few factors that will determine OUR future. BE PREPARED TO FIGHT!!!!!

Now how do we fight? IF it comes to the point there i NO reason to go to DC. Our survival will depend on small groups fighting like the Muslims in Iraq, neither the Russians nor the US has been able to end a war there. Avoid at all cost major confrantations. The numbers and will be against you. Have several weapon points along with food reserves. NOW is the time to start building up your reserve. If nothing happen we will have lost nothing. If the sign are correct. We will need to fight for all we have. May God Bless OUR land and its citizens.

First of all what do we do about those who refuse to believe that a monster walks amongst us? Are they the enemy also, or are they merely misinformed people who will someday realize that they were wrong to trust their Party? See i didn't say the Government for a reason: They blame all ills on the "other" Party while absolving their own Party of any wrong doing.

This is the problem in America. This behavior allows the criminal rulers to continue their pillage of the American people.
That's why I continue to rant that we must get rid of the first party to be able to get rid of the second.
Lets get Rid of the Republican Party, form our new party, then get rid of the Democrats. I won't happen if we wait for the proper alignment of the stars before we strike out on this path. But if we just shun the the Republican Party at the ballot box, in a couple of election cycles they will be deader than a rock. -

I agree we must form a new party, BUT by eliminating only one of the two you give the other full control without a challenging party. In other words dictatorship. No a little all sides should stay but their power taken away that they must serve the people or be out for ever.

Chef. Rex 84 was superseded by Bush Directives and the newly built prisons that KBR built. The Rex 84 story I think includes all that are now and all that have ever been. But rest assured they are there. I'm not sure what you read. If you will google Bush Directive Radicalization Act KBR domestic prisons, you should find enough about this subject to provide reading for a week.

I notice that some of the sites that originally revealed Rex 84 have been censored. I once saw a map of the ones Cheney had KBR build. It is no longer available to be viewed.

Sandmonster - one of the problems is most of America has little or NO knowledge of whats going on. My perdictions would be that less than 10% would be prepared for what is comming.That is one reason I formed the 4th party group. 1. To get people informed and 2 to fight back politically and try to remove those in power before its to late.
