Wow that's BS. I remember when we had soda machines and candy at school. Kids aren't getting fat because they eat junk food at school, it's the constant snacking at home. But that's beside the point, a school has no right to tell the children what to eat.

At the first parent teachers conference this year my daughters teacher said she was impressed at how healthy the wife’s lunches for our daughter where. When I asked how she knew that she informed us that she was required to inspect lunches from home to ensure they where healthy for the kid’s, so the very next day I handed her the school lunch menu with pizza, cheese burgers, corn dogs, French toast sticks, frito boats (frito chips and chili) and Oh yeah the oh so healthy lunch cinnamon swirl French toast, told her that she and the school principal would be better employed correcting the school menu to make it healthy.
