Desperate and despicable. Faux News.
All the lies they want you to believe,so they will look good to ya !!!!!!!!!!!!
Is it any wonder they have Lush Limpaw, as the spokesman for the GOP= Get out Party.
Lies and wishes are most of all he says.
They really ought to combine forces, they could show Limpaw talking out of his as* while Rupert Murdoch pulled his puppeteer strings.
Thanks for the invite.
They should be arested for libel or fraud. -

Wow...what a sloppy job of video editing.
Reply
I'll assume the video editor/asst. video editor got the wrong piece of tape, and put it in by mistake. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt...
At least I hope that was the case...I can't imagine it was done purposefully...

This is really unbelievable. A new low, even for Fox News.

Biden was quoting John McCain last September, and FoxNews edited its report--then followed it up with commentary--to make it sound as if the quote Biden ridiculed was his own opinion. Jeez--you can even see last fall's campaign signs behind Biden as he speaks!
Is it possible to sue for such outrageous misrepresentation? -

"They probably have to drug the broadcasters to let them keep a straight face."
Unfortunately, I think these bozos believe the tripe they spew. I've O'Reilly, Limbaugh, and other wing-nuts interviewed and it is quite apparent that disinformation flows from their lips too comfortably to be an act.
Case in point: Look at the usual suspects that dropped this article. They are religious in their political beliefs to the point of dropping a story because of 1) who posted it, 2) it discredits their heroes, and 3) it might be leaning left.
Telling outright lies, spreading misinformation, or editing information to make half-truths is their modus operandi. When they are caught in a lie they try to pull the old bate-and-switch routine..."look at what so-and-so did"..."everyone else does it too"..."Martians are landing and I left something on the oven!"

even some of the radically conservative posters to propeller know that this is "s.o.p." for fachus "news"... but it doesn't matter because the truth doesn't matter to many of those posters. i do remember many making it clear that they would say anything, regardless of fact to prevent barak obama from being elected. at least one poster who offered up that sentiment also claimed to be extremely patriotic.... these people need the comfort of something like faux to allay their fears (or incite them) and for them a lie is better than admitting any error.

FOX News. Barf buckets, all of them. Slimiest of the slimy. They're not even good "entertainers".

But what else would one expect from the official news outlet of the Republican Party. If it emanates from an anus, it's usually sh!t. But that is the normal diet for Repukes and Neocons. They stuff their brains with it on a daily basis. No wonder they stink!

These Fox News personalities know they'll get away with lies and distortions of the truth with their gullible viewers. It doesn't matter to them that people in the know view them as phony journalists and as lying shills for the Republican far right wingnut theology of corporatism.

Hmmm, it seems that many of the words used above... slimy, faux (as in faux outrage), radical, fake, drugs, desperate, despicable, propaganda, a new low, misrepresentation, falsehoods, slander, smear, unmasked (my favorite)... could also be associated with a certain Barack Obama.

Speaking of faux outrage, The One received $101,332 in political contributions from AIG!!
http://www.examiner.com/x-268-Right-Side-Politics-...
Seems the only person who received more from AIG was Nobama's partner-in-crime, Chris Dodd.
Will the die-hard Obamessiah disciples find anything wrong with that? Not a chance.
Hypocrisy defined.-

how come you never asked how much say...blackwater or enron contributed to the bush campaign?

Did you have a point to make about the story, which is about Fox News editing an old Joe Biden campaign speech to make it appear that he's saying the exact opposite of what he actually did say? Or is your goal simply to distract from this submission?
If you'd like to submit a story about Obama taking campaign contributions from AIG (which he didn't, by the way--the employees, not the company, gave him money), feel free.

let's try to remember that the real meaning of the words democrat and republican have nothing to do with the way they are often used. democrats are not communists and republicans are not fascists. use of language to divide is a tactic of the radical-right. i would suggest that we choose not to emulate such a disgusting example. -

Perhaps it was inadvertent-- it might have gotten mixed in with all the administration officials (including Obama, himself) saying either exactly or essentially the same thing all this last week.

two questions:
did you come by this information via the tv or the radio?
was the television or radio plugged into some sort of power source at the time? -

Please post a link supporting this claim (that all the administration officials, including Obama himself, said that the economy is currently strong). I'd like to see that because I have seen/heard the complete opposite since Obama took office. Please provide a source for this information, if you would.

Gotta love Fox News...if for no other reason that they keep the comedians busy. They really are nothing but a joke. It amazes me how many people seem to be seduced by them, believing everything they say like it's their new-found religion.
Reply
Although, you know when they've really screwed up when the only comments coming from their "defenders" are completely non-responsive. They attack people for criticizing Fox News or reply with "but what about the AIG contributions to Obama" like that has ANYTHING to do with this. Deflections like these only prove the fact that even their loyal viewers recognize this as a complete screw up. Too bad they can't just admit it. How refreshing that might be, huh? To have a Fox News fan come out and simply say that Fox News screwed up and were *gasp* wrong....I wonder if that will EVER happen here?
Bottom line, Fox News is a political propaganda machine being passed off as a legitimate news source. Clips like this prove it to be the case. I don't see where there is anything redeemable about Fox News when things like this are such commonplace there. What's sad is that so many people seem to believe them, and use their "news" reports as motivation to vote the way they do. But no matter how you slice it, they are still no more respectable a news source than is the National Enquirer or any other tabloid out there...pandering to their base with the most inflammatory and outrageous stories they can concoct in order to boost ratings and manipulate their viewing public. -

"Fox News should be forced to remove the "news" part of their name or be sued for false advertising."
I agree. It's like when the WWF (World Wrestling Federation) had to change their name to the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment). This let everyone know that the wrestling was not real and only entertainment...much like FOX (entertainment) News is.

overall, o'reilly is winning, but most of his viewership is old. he's winning big in the 65 and over demo. but in the 25-54 demo (the biggest and most important demo money-wise) they are very close.
Reply
o'reilly has the advantage since fox is the only mouthpiece for the right on the airwaves, so he gets the enitre pie when it comes to right-leaning veiwers.
meanwhile, olbermann has the leftys. but the problem there is that leftys don't watch these kinds of "news" people as religiously as the righties, mostly due to the fact that leftys simply don't need their beliefs reinforced from outside sources to the degree that righties do (a scientific fact btw, with over 50 years of study to back it up). so leftys, or independents, split up their viewing over a wider range of news sources.
the real truth here is that neither o'reilly nor olberman have through-the-roof numbers, and neither MSNBC nor Fox wins the cable news ratings battle. that title would go to CNN, the most trustest name in news.

Fox was pointing out the flip-flop that the Obama admin is now taking. How Obama criticized McCain for his statement how he knew the fundamentals of our economy are strong and never took back what he said. Now these idiots re-edit the edit and try to smear fox. How long can the head up the butt Obama loyalists last? Fox leads in ratings for a reason. No B.S.
