Obama and the Iranian bomb »

Fears of nuclear weapons in the hands of Iran's Shiite regime are forcing a shotgun marriage of Israel and the Sunni Arab states. An Iranian A-bomb is not the stuff of neocon fantasies. IRAN has not produced the highly enriched uranium necessary for a nuclear weapon and has not decided to do so, US intelligence officials told Congress.

This assessment contrasts with a stark Israeli warning days earlier that Iran had crossed the "technological threshold" in its pursuit of the bomb.

Israeligirl, at least you can find solace in the fact that the uneducated neocons in this country will fall for this type of propaganda.

    Interesting.
The more Iran gets closer to producing a bomb the less likely they are to have a bomb.

To me the only fly in the ointment about the 'not producing a bomb argument' is the ABM system deployed in the former Warsaw Pact Nations.

However, the British PM Godon Brown, wishes IRAN to have Nuclear power, if they promise not to make weapons from it.

      Can one believe that?

If the 'civilized world' is interested in eliminating nukes and WMD's in the Middle East, let's start with Israel who has stock piles of nukes supplied by the USA. Oops, I guess that's like ignoring the 'big elephant' in the room!!!
Pakistan and India have nukes. Why not Iran, Egypt, Kuwait, Syria or Saudi Arabia? Oh I see, nukes are only for the 'civilized nations'. That's a BIG FARCE :)
