The SEIU wants to take your 401K and will promise you at least $600.00 a month..........
Geez, makes me feel comfortable having a union that was CRITICAL in getting Obama elected take care of my 401K for me, how about you?

This happens and you will see your 401K go to 'change' and it will be the kind you will NOT believe in.........

    When does this crap stop?

I've heard rumors about the government wanting to take over 401k's. I told my daughter last month to stop her contribution and try to get the some of her money back. She was able to stop her contribution but she was told she could not withdraw her funds until retirement.

"In effect, government pensions for everyone, not unlike the European system and regardless of personal choice."

The only time liberals favor choice is for abortion. For everything else - from fats in your food to the type of light bulb you can buy to the type of car that you drive - they want to make the choice for you.

People who are successful in retirement planning will have to "share" their wealth with the "less fortunate" anyway. Obama's tax code will see to that.

the unions USED to be wrothwhile but in the last sevreal decades they have become corrupt. they are run by either the mob or the democrats, not much difference there. they have quit protecting the workers and only protect themselves now. they demand bigger wages for less work and then TAKE more dues from the workers. you realize that they make money all the while the union is out on strike, that is why we always see long strikes, you know, the ones that could be settled for an extra 2ccents /hr. in my book they only serve the mediocore worker who wants to sit on his a** while someone else does his work.
