Almost every level or game must end at some point -- but not without building up to some sort of ultimate encounter. In games of skill, bosses serve as the epitome of challenge, and developers have long prided themselves on delivering enemies that are bigger, badder, and wilder than the player can handle. Though we've had countless numbers of favorite bosses over the years, we decided it would be fun to pull together a list of the most badass of the bunch. These are boss battles that are so epic, so challenging, or just so intense that they forever stick with you. If you've been craving a good boss battle, this list is a great place to start.
