A free short story based on Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings" is being given away by British writer Michael Bond at worldmaker.org, to raise support for new environmental initiatives and lift the world out of recession.

The story, "Dragon's Vale", is intended to showcase Michael's writing talents to attract support for further work, including the launch of a range of ambitious initiative to address key issues in the environment.
