Closing Gitmo...good idea. Vets paying their own insurance...bad idea. Confirming Israel is a nuclear power...priceless. Maybe now we can have weapons inspectors come in. Why should they be allowed to have weapons with no inspections, when even the U.S. has to conform to some oversight.BTW, this report came out in Nov. 2008., so who are you referring to when you said,"the President and his people"?

We'll move the terrorist to your hometown on their release, including the 61 former Gitmo detainees who have been involved in subsequent acts of terrorism.

Why do you want to continue providing room, board, prayer mats, internet access, cable, etc...? Oh, it's because you are a liberal. I forgot.

If they are guilty, try 'em and fry 'em.

Yes, by all means. Let's have the same UN that has repeatedly turned a blind eye to aggression against Israel and allowed its assets to be used for terrorist purposes to go in and examine what Israel has.

Had Israel an inclination to vaporize its hostile neighbors, or even eliminate their oil wealth with conventional weaponry, they would have done so already.

I will be worried about Israel's nukes the day Jews kill more Muslims than Muslims do.

Can you elaborate on weapons inspections in France, Britain and North Korea,Jovial?

Just briefly, All the states you mentioned are NPT members with the exception of North Korea. We also know that inspectors have been on the ground in N. Korea as recently as last year. Israel on the other hand is not a member of the NPT and has never had any outside country inspect it's nuclear reactors or it's facilities. You might want to investigate the Vela incident as well why are researching the subject. Here's a link to get you started.

              > All the states you mentioned are NPT members ...

NPT means Non-Proliferation Treaty. As all these coutries already have nuclear weapons "non-proliferation' INTO them is meaningless.

              > Israel on the other hand is not a member of the NPT and has never had any outside country inspect it's nuclear reactors or it's facilities.

Yes. Israel is also at war... unlike other NPT members.

Why is it that all you ever offer is more excuses? Do you think that because you are at war you can do whatever you please? Nonsense!

                  > Why is it that all you ever offer is more excuses?

I don't know. I do not consider my explanations to be excuses.

                  > Do you think that because you are at war you can do whatever you please? Nonsense!

I agree that this is nonsense... one of many nonsensical claims you're posting here every day. Israel is at war, this is a fact. Israel has every right to defend itself, this is also a fact. As long as Israel does not violate any laws it has the right to do whatever is necessary for it to defend its citizens and its territory. This is a fact as well.

if you prefer to deal with your own nonsense instead of facts it's too bad... but it's entirely up to you.

I wonder why... nothing in this article suggest that Israel hd something to do with this incident. On the other hand, if the current government of South Africa knew that Israel WAS involved would it conspire with the Israelis to keep the secret, in your opinion?

Yeah, I know since you can't prove it 100% then just ignore totally the implications. Typical with countries that are hiding something.

I do not ignore anything, Jovial. I've asked you a pretty simple question: if the South African government (which hardly can be suspected in any sympathies towards Israel) had any information about Israeli nuclear test would not it make it public, in your opinion?

I personally am pretty sure that Israel has nuclear weapons and is capable of turning ANY aggressor into a pile of radioactive rubble. I'm also sure that this capability of Israel had prevented its neighbors from trying to destroy it again.
