Voter Fraud is just a tip of the ice burg.
Reply
Little-known until now, ACORN has played a major role in the subprime mortgage mess that has undermined Americans’ support for free market problem-solving and set off a worldwide chain of financial troubles. It is also implicated in vote fraud schemes from coast to coast. ACORN aims to give America change that socialists can believe in – by any means necessary. It is deliberately organized to avoid scrutiny. But with an FBI probe underway, millions of dollars in back taxes owing, and a racketeering lawsuit pending, it may finally have to answer for its many misdeeds. (This is a companion article to this month’s Labor Watch, which looks at ACORN’s inconsistent approach to labor issues.)-

ACORN represents lower income people, community policing, affordable health care and housing.

Yup. Sounds like a mob.
Oh, sorry, in this country the majority is sometimes described as a "mob."
I'd suggest holding the DNC and the GOP to the same standards.

ACORN, the Association of Community
Reply
Organizations for Reform Now,
is a 38 year old radical left-wing
activist group that has taken in a minimum
of $126.4 million in donations and tax dollars
since 1993. ACORN calls itself the nation’s
largest community-based organization with
over 400,000 member families in 110 cities.
Its stated mission is “building community
organizations that are committed to social and
economic justice.” But like Jeremiah Wright,
Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, ACORN activists
build community solidarity by using the
corrosive rhetoric of class-warfare. -

ACORN & Co.: Community Organizers and Tax Cheats

This table, based on public records, reflects some of the largest of those active tax liens and now-released tax liens pertaining
to ACORN and aff liates that list 1024 Elysian Fields Avenue, New Orleans, Louisiana 70117 as their address. A tax lien is issued only after other attempts to collect the tax debt have been made and the tax debt is seriously delinquent.
If the lien has been released, that means that after the debtor failed to pay the tax owing, it either paid the tax owing or made arrangements to pay satisfactory to the creditor tax agency. There may be many, many more ACORN tax liens
pending that have been sent out to other ACORN addresses.

"To me they, ACORN, are Marxists; no more no less."
And that, my friend, is why Obama is so fond of them!
"Birds of a feather", comes to mind.
We all knew an Obama Administration would be "interesting" in the worst way, and it's living up to its promise of being a certified SOCIALIST NIGHTMARE! Stay tuned, there's more to come (unfortunately).

Sadly, with Obama as President and Holder as Attorney General, there is no way that the Justice department or any of its law enforcement agencies will vigorously inestigate ACORN for wrongdoing. The weasels are now guarding the henhouse. If anything, look for ACORN members to get to sleep in the Lincoln Bedroom while visiting Obama at the White House.

Well, I can see we are going to have the angry "conservatives" looking for any angle to blame everybody but their bunch for everything that is wrong.
Ya know if they are guilty by all means bring it to court and lets convict them.
By the same token lets bring the last administration to court for it's treasonous behavior.-

Hey there, Cowboy!

You know, it is kind of funny, but I have a lot of friends and one of my cousins who always considered themselves liberal until recently. They have suddenly found out how conservative they are when they go to the publlc records, you know the "dot gov" sites and realize what is happening.
You seem to be a tad bit slower to come around, darlin. If you would but take the time to investigate those "treasonous" charges you mention you will find that the accusers are the groups bought and paid for by George Soros. And if you researched a little farther you would find that the wholesale "sellout" of yours and my country is prevalent on both sides of the aisle. I never thought I would see what is happening go on in my own country. The few good ones in congress have been systematically banned, labeled as loonies. It is "their" MO.
Dadgummit I hate all of this! We need our country back from the ones who have sold us out. The latest bill with the mandatory volunteerism (if that is not a contradiction in terms) was presented before congress last week.
I know you would never ask for links, like so many of the imbeciles around here do even when subjects are all over every news station. I guess they think they are being clever or something. But I encourage you to start taking the time to go to the sources, the ".gov" sites while you still can. Every single agency has a web site, everything that goes before congress has a number and is posted online, every single company that is publicly traded has a list of who is buying what, when it is over 5% of the total stock. For just one example, look up "George Soros" at the SEC.gov site. (He doesn't have a middle name). Everything is online. The GSA is a great site, they all are, you have to look nowadays though, the current press will not feed it to you like they used to. They have largely been bought and sold too. Go explore your country online, while you still can, you report!!

ACORNhas provided protest-for-hire services and extracted donations from the targets of demonstrations by shaking down those targets mafia-style. (Gee sounds like a page out of Jesse Jackson's play book)
The taxpayer-subsidized ACORN network, which owes millions of dollars in back taxes (LOL don't they support raising taxes on the "wealthy" and they can't even pay their own? Typical isn't it?)-

They would fit right in at the Treasury Department, under the sterling leadership of Tim "Turbo Tax" Geithner. -

Man bites dog: Conyers troubled by ACORN allegations, calls for probe
Reply
Mr. Conyers, Michigan Democrat and fierce partisan, suggested a congressional probe after scathing testimony about the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) during a hearing on various voting issues related to the 2008 presidential election.
Mr. Conyers called the accusations “a pretty serious matter.”
“I think that it would be something that would be worth our time,” he said during Thursday’s hearing. “We’ve never had one person representing ACORN before the committee. … I think in all fairness we ought to really examine it.”
The testimony by Pittsburgh lawyer Heather Heidelbaugh accused the nonprofit group of violating tax, campaign-finance and other laws by, among other things, sharing with the Barack Obama campaign a list of the Democrat’s maxed-out campaign donors so ACORN could use it to solicit them for a get-out-the-vote drive.
