As a child growing up (over 50 years ago) I used to visit Minneapolis with my parents who come from the area. We used to stay at the Lake Calhoun Hotel that overlooked the beautiful lake. I remember catching sunfish and perch in the lake with a bamboo pole and bobber rig. Fond memories for me. This is the first time that I have heard of the lake in many years.
