We've seen a real movement for urban gardens in our community. Last year we planted a 300 sq ft garden in our backyard and we have plans to make it even bigger. I wish I still had my chickens for the fresh eggs but I'm sure the neighbors were glad we left them at the farm when we moved in!

Perhaps they will launch a "Ministry of Food," as the Brits did in WWII. Gardening food is fundamentally important, but we have a problem - there are a lot of Americans who have no idea how to cook from scratch. So in conjunction with encouraging folks to grow food, we should be teaching what to do with the food once it comes out of the soil - that means cooking, canning and preservation.

They will probably create a $200,000.00 a year head gardener to oversee the illegal aliens that will pull the weeds out of the 10 square foot garden. He will also have to be an anti constitution, anti American, gun grabbing liberal. If President Soetoro doesn't like beets, he doesn't know what is good. I heard he doesn't like Pork either because it is against his religion.

Its a good message there. A garden does many things for the person growing stuff. From taking responsibility for growing things, to planning, dedication and of course the rewards. If anyone is wondering, goes beyong the vegetables themselves.

But I have no illusions that the "Dimminati" here will not spin and make their destructive statements. -
