Gee dionys, sounds like maybe some americans like freedom to choose to me. our country is a republic not a dictatorship like nazi germany during WW II.

America is the topic not Israel. You seem to puke up Israel like a dog returning to it's vomit.

    Nothing mandatory in the bill.
    
    The article is a hit piece...Most would oppose any form of mandatory service...that's not what this is about...it's about organized Civil Service...That's Smart!
    
    We are going to have to rebuild our infrastructure somehow.
    
    We had to do it once before...and I hear tell of a lot of folks needing useful work these days.

    Shixa, on the two postings it's none of your business but since you asked just getting the word out. This is dangerously close to becoming a reality.
    
    More and More people are getting disillusioned with this administration over things such as HR 1388 the AIG scandal etc..
    
    Since the first posting this has been on several major websites, and was broadcast this week on Television. It's on you tube now so people are becoming more aware of just how untrustworthy members of this administration and congress are and it shows just how we can NOT turn our backs on them.
    
    As far as the chicken, surely you jest. That sounds like you are about 11 years old and are picking a fight as the school yard bully.

  You attack Obama for making social service mandatory, yet constantly praise Israel as a supposed democracy. They have mandatory military service, which obviously isn't intended to make a better world like social service.
  
  So you're obviously critical not of the mandatory service, but anything the Obama administration does.

    So you figure we should dictate policy to other governments do you Dionys and seems big sister Shixa does too.
    
    Israel has a right to govern and defend herself how she see fit.
    
    This article is about America, land of the FREE home of the brave, you remember that country right?
    
    We don't want mandatory service. Those that want to serve will, those that do not or can not will NOT. Pretty simple concept.
    
    It keeps the FREE part in Land of the Free............
