Notre Dame is a Catholic school that wants its student body to find its basic inspiration from Jesus Christ as their source of wisdom.

and the highest of Chirst's priniciples is to love your fellow man.

"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets." (Mt 22:37-40)

so where's the love?

or are these protestors at Notre Dame just a bunch of lying hypocrites?

    I hope you realize that in your analogy Obama is Jesus and Notre Dame is the money changers, since Obama is the one venturing into their temple in the vulnerable positiion.
    
    or maybe you meant it the other way around, which means its just a stupid attempt at an analogy that simply doesn't work.
