Obama finally reveals his true colors by supporting corporate intellectual monopolies and spinning it as a national security issue.

Dandt, you were a Clinton supporter last year right? The way she has been acting recently says that she would be doing the same things Obama is doing. And the only upside to McCain over either of them is that earmarks would be eliminated. Basically what I'm saying is, We got screwed last year. And I'm with you, people damn well better start paying attention. Or we'll continue to be screwed.

I don't think the statist will be able to sidestep the sixth amendment to the Bill of Rights. But the statist are trying to use an international treaty to undermine our consitution. Obama has shown that he is a statist.

October 24, 2007, Barack Obama promised to support a filibuster of any FISA reform law that contained telecom immunity provisions.
Reply
Months later, he regressed on that promise and actually asked fellow Democrats to support warrantless spying as "a good compromise."
This, to the extreme displeasure from moveon.org, truemajority, and the well-spoken keith olberman. -

Just look at what this man is doing to our country.

All you Dems bitched and moaned about Bush's spending. Bush doubles the deficit in (8 YEARS TIME), Obama trippled the deficit in 6 weeks. You Dems bitched and moaned about how Bush was spying on us and taking away our privacy. Well look at what Obama has planned to do.
"passing new law to allow searching of PC's, Laptops, and media devices" That's in ADDITION to what Bush allowed and did.
But, not one peep of disapproval from you dems is there?
Can you dipwads say HYPOCRITES!!!! Can you say you screwed up by voting Obama?
This is only Day 63, give Obama another 6 months or so and you will be begging for Bush to come back!
OBAMA IS GOING TO INTENTIONALLY BANKRUPT OUR COUNTRY. HE HAS A PLAN. IT'S CALLED CHANGE! America is looking more like CUBA every day....Don't just stick you're heads in the sand, you people better wake the F up! -

Did you people see Obama awhile back talking about creating a new homeland security military?
Reply
He said it will be just as powerful as our current military. Although Obama claims this military to be for homeland security, it's ACTUALLY to protect his own Government from being overthrown by the people when the people get a clue to what Obama has planned for the USA. All this is very real and very scary!!!!!
see Obama say it here

No sorry pal, Obama is NOT talking about increasing the size of our national guard, if that's what he meant, then that's what he would have said. (Just watch the video)

The problem Obama would face with our current national guard is that 85% of them are Conservative Republicans. They ain't on Obama's side. That's why Obama said he will create a new civilian military, one that just as powerful and just as well founded as our current military. So Obama's military can face off with our current military. Yep, Obama has a plan.
Just ask yourselves this...
Why the hell do we need ANOTHER military that's just as powerful and just as well funded as our current military???? You better think things over very well my friend. Obama is a "WOLF in SHEEP'S CLOTHING" -

Well my goodness. Is Obama bin Laden going w/Bush policies? Hee! Hee! How hilarious. Of course, w/the liberals it's ok if OBL does this but for Bush it was what? Treason? The blatant stupidity and appalling arrogance of liberals really makes me laugh sometimes.

One can delete, remove, erase, get rid of, toss out anything & everything on your computer, all day long, it will still do NO GOOD. These things you get rid of are still there, no matter what you do. They are still there in a permanent under layer on your computers hardrive. The only thing you can do it destroy your computer and buy a new one. Then behave yourself!

“Bush doubled the DEBT.
Reply
When Clinton left, there was no deficit. So he couldn't have "doubled" it. He inverted the surplus.”
There is no “surplus” if you have DEBT!
The debt went up each year. There was no $236.2 billion surplus. NEVER HAPPENED.
Debt being how much you owe.
Deficit is how much ABOVE your budget are you going to spend year to year.
Producing a budget without any DEFICIT is not a great accomplishment.
All ya have to do is CALL something a “CRISIS” and you can spend money on it ABOVE your “BUDGET” without it counting as “DEFICIT”.
It’s a simple numbers trick, I’m surprised some people still don’t know this, amazing really.
Hint this has been a political trick played by ALL parties. Quit being a sap!
BTW did you ever wonder why just about “Everything” is a “CRISIS”?
The Homeless “CRISIS”
The Healthcare “CRISIS”
The Edumakation “CRISIS”
The Global warming “CRISIS”
The lack of toilet paper “CRISIS”
Debt is the compounded moneys spent beyond the Budget year after year for whatever reason.
Since 1950 only 1 time the debt has actually gone down, that was 1956.
The debt was lower in 1956 than it was in 1955.-

What Bush INHERITED form Clinton was a Debt of $5,807,463,412,200.06 which is a far cry from $0.00
What Obama INHERITED from Bush was
09/30/2008 10,024,724,896,912.49
Not exactly doubled, but close enough.
It should also be noted that the debt soared after Dems took both houses.
Considering the Congress is the one who actually spends the money this can not be over looked.

I thought McCain was Bush's Mini Me. I may have been mistaken. Crap like this is outrageous. Can I have my vote back? Until these losers in both of the parties put up a REAL AMERICAN, I refuse to vote anymore. All these people are scum of the earth.

I hope everyone, left and right, can agree on the need to oppose those provisions of the treaty and to oppose the RIAA. I don't really think we should be calling each other names when we have something that can unite us.

All of you foolish Obama supporters whine about Bush taking our rights away although you can't name one person who actually lost their rights except some terrorists. Now Obama wants to search our computers without a warrant. Obama is a communist you idiots he will have anyone in prison if they disagree with him. Worrying about Bush's debt of $800 billion is ridiculous when Obama has spent more than all presidents combined and his debt in eight weeks is $3.7 Trillion. Obama is intentionally destroying this country, he is spying on Americans, he is telling us how much we can earn, he wants to tax us at 90%. Come on people he turing America into a third world and you are all so stupid you sit back and bitch about Bush.

And some of the Gitmo residents will be released in, perhaps, Chicago????
Reply
And they are going to get "financial support"
probably free medical, free income, free rent, instate tuition.
And will they have the right to bring in their relatives to live here too??-

Sounds like a good deal considering that a former Bush aide just said that the vast majority of people at Gitmo are innocent of any crime.
Reply
What would you say fair recompense for imprisonment and torture over a 7 year period for someone innocent of any wrongdoing would be ?

theft is absolutely illegal and intellectual theft is just as abhorrent as tangible property theft.
BUT...just as we do not allow the cops or the gov't or even the owners of the missing tangible property to just come into my home and rifle through everything just to see if I might have stolen something, neither should the cops, nor the gov't nor the copyright holder be allowed to peruse the contents of my computer without compelling evidence that I have contraband on it. Just owning a laptop with internet access is NOT reasonable suspicion that I have pirated or otherwise illegally downloaded software or other files on it.
In order to search my laptop or my desktop computer, the gov't must show compelling cause -- just as it would need to search my home.
To relax these standards is to take one more giant step toward a totalitarian gov't where private property and privacy have no meaning whatsoever.
