WHy? Cuz O'reilly has an opinion? Since when did it become and American way of life to put down other opinions and even go as far as too boycott someone's freedom of speech? Not buying someones records (Dixie Chicks) because of their opinions is a lot different than having a Liberal group that is hell bent on shutting up it's opposition and taking away their right to speak out.

I guess Liberals don't like people who don't agree with them and they will do everything to shut them up. Is this even Freakin' America anymore? What good is having free speech if people want to shut you up for having a different opinion than them?

We might as well not have free speech anymore if we are all Liberals. What good is it if everyone has the same opinion as yours? Funny how the Libs. called Bush a fascist and put him down everyday but Bush did NOTHING, as he understands that different voices NEED to be heard. But here the Libs. sit with a Liberal President and the Libs. want to silence someone who is a private citizen.

Fascism isn't a word anymore. It's a way of life for the Liberals who want to take away our guns and our not-- so Free Speech.

"WHy? Cuz O'reilly has an opinion?"

--No--cuz he's a smarmy, obnoxious, stalking weasel. Didn't you read the story?

"Since when did it become and American way of life to put down other opinions and even go as far as too boycott someone's freedom of speech?"

--No one's boycotting anyone's freedom of speech. The First Amendment gives you the right to say whatever you want. It doesn't grant you immunity from criticism if someone doesn't like what you say.

"I guess Liberals don't like people who don't agree with them and they will do everything to shut them up."

      --But he's a stalker and a hypocrite.

"What good is having free speech if people want to shut you up for having a different opinion than them?"

--Relax. Bill O'Reilly can still say whatever he wants. And those who disagree with him have a right to express their disapproval of his words and actions. Just because you have the right to say something doesn't mean it's always a good idea to say it. Some people need to understand that there are sometimes consequences to saying whatever you feel like saying.

"...but Bush did NOTHING, as he understands that different voices NEED to be heard."

--We just weren't thrilled to have Bush listening to us without our permission. ;-P

Rather like the Christian bus driver who refused to get on the bus that had an atheist message on the side?

          What's the difference?

None, of course. As usual, the right is showing it's true hypocrisy..."do as we say, not as we do". 8(

Free speech comes with consequences. That is what you are not understanding. You can say what you want, but if people don't like it, they don't have to support it. Losing that support is a consequence of speech. Being free to say something doesn't free you from responsibility for saying it.
