When, oh, when is America going to GET RID of this BAD JOKE known as the United Nations?! Stalin's approval of the concept should have warned any thinking person that something wasn't quite right with this re-hash of the "League of Nations", one of President Wilson's favorite projects (and one our Senate at the time wisely refused to ratify). About the ONLY THING the U.N. provides is employment for THIRD WORLD DESPOTS who otherwise couldn't find a paying job, especially one with so many perks (many at our expense, of course). I, and I believe the majority of Americans, neither need nor wish to support this organization any longer. Let the U.N. pass all the silly "laws" they wish --- WITHOUT U.S. PARTICIPATION in this tom-foolery! Let the Third World Despots we leave in charge of this ZOO try to ENFORCE their U.N. Sponsored FATWAS. That should be interesting.
There was once a long-standing billboard on U.S. Hwy. 30 near Conway, Arkansas, which I used to laugh at with my friends in my liberal youth. It's message was "GET U.S. OUT of the U.N.!"
I'm not LAUGHING any longer. Get U.S. out of this USELESS organization before our participation binds us to even more silliness than that now being proposed, which includes plans to over-ride our Second Amendment through a "small-arms treaty".-

The U.N. does just enough humanitarian work to lull people into ignoring their platform.

A lot of people still haven't figured out that the U.N. is mostly a bunch of dictator-thugs who don't value rights or liberties for ordinary citizens and who have their own totalitarian agenda. And some are very powerful people in U.S. government.

I will criticize or make fun of your religion if I wish. I support your right to criticize or make fun of any religion you wish to, even my own. It is not a violation of anyone's rights to criticize anyone's religion, only to discriminate against them unfairly because of it.

This is from the UN representative for the secularist think tank Center for Inquiry, who spent 2 weeks at the Council participating in the negotiations over the language of this resolution, sponsored by a 57-member intergovernmental body called the Organization of the Islamic Conference, or OIC:

Oh I see that Mutainia posted a twisted version of an article someone else already posted.

The other article actually talked about how the UN resolution would likely discriminate AGAINST Muslims.
Mutainia, I suppose, with her crazed off-the-meds blathering would have you believe it will keep all those good, honest, blonde haired, blue eyed Christians from being able to say jack doolittle about Islam.
