Laika, a first dog who reached the orbit of the Earth and was a Space Dog of Soviet. The Scientists at that time had a little knowledge about the living things at the space. Few scientist believde that it is not easy to survive for the human on the launch or the condition of the outer space may not be suitable for human.

I salute Laika. Poor pooch just wanted food and shelter and some love and got burned to death. I sometimes wonder what goes on in the brains of animals like Laika. Do they realize they've been had before they die?
