I disagree with the Supreme Court!! The warnings are on every pack . The dangers have been in the public eye for at least 40 years. Any person who smokes KNOWINGLY takes a risk and had a choice NOT to smoke. Where is personal responsibility.

Interesting that the Government has no problems with smoking, I mean what a great place to make 'free' income,,,, Mr. President we need 38 billion dollars what shall we do? I have a great idea, triple the tax on a pack of smokes. The anti-smoking Nazis will love the idea and those hooked on the smokes can only pay and pay.

I fail to see how you can make a company pay that kind of money for someone who chose to smoke. His comment that he believed the companies advertising over the surgeon general's is unbelievable. Any company trying to sell you a product will try to convince you that you need this product, whether you do or not. They do this through advertsing in the various mediums. This advertising consists of as many half truths and lies as it takes to convince you of this.
