Governor Jim Douglas is showing all the backbone of a jellyfish. As soon as a few right-wing zealots in Vermont turned up the political heat just a little bit, he buckled and caved to their demands. My opinion is that Governor Douglas does not deserve the support of the Democratic party. I know if I lived in Vermont, I would oppose him in the primary.

Makes me glad I'm a Canadian! I sincerely hope that the ignorance stops and people find better things to get upset about...the war perhaps? I find it quite easy to see why the one lady's nephew is a confused teen; bigoted, narrow-minded upbringing may have a part to do with it.
