Sorry that my path never quite crossed with LC's - though in VERY early days I had lunch with Marianne on Kings Road in Chelsea, London and she invited me to "their" [Greek] island - I forget now which one it was. Being very shy at the time :), I declined.
I especially loved "Closing Time", in a version which I once saw on a flight from NY to London. One of these days I'll post it. I think that was the time that the check-in clerk was convinced that I was Eric C travelling incognito - bizarre since I've got several inches on him, heightwise.. -
