Morally acceptable?
I think that the information in the poll may be worded wrong. I am a very liberal Catholic, and I don't find these acts morally acceptable. I just don't pass judgment on those who participate in these acts.
I also realize that our Constitution grants all Americans the right to be free to practice their beliefs in any way that they see fit. In addition, I believe strongly in a seperation of church and state.
Having said that, it is morally against the teachings of my religion, the Catholic Church, to participate in any of the acts mentioned in the article.
