PEEP will be using the marshmallow whale Peeps as decoys, hopefully tricking Japanese whalers into harpooning those instead of cute and cuddly whales. If successful, PEEP will look into other decoy opportunities. Baby seal Peeps are under strong consideration, especially with Canada’s seal hunt underway.

PEEP stands for People for Everything and Everyone on the Planet; it is a joint effort is between Darryl Hannah, The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society and Greenpeace.

    Thats pretty good! I hope they are successful in this, as we dont need whales to be a lost species.

      Wouldn't whale-size peeps melt?
      And wouldn't sharks eat them and get sick?
      And wouldn't this be an april fools joke?
