I guess we all bought into the marketing message (myth, honestly) peddled by the bottling industry - bottled water is cheap, it’s convenient to carry, it’s better than tap water. I don’t have anything against marketing but we simply need to look at these claims closely.

I think we need to double down on plastic bottle recycling efforts. There's just too much of the stuff, and the recycling rate is pitifully small in comparison. The illustrates this point quite well.
