Phil Gramm's veto proof 1999 deregulation bill passed by the Republican congress and uncontrolled spending by the Republicans before the Democrats got control. Billions of dollars that just disappeared in Iraq and these idiots cry fowl when it comes to passing bills to fix this mess.

Want to know what the auto industry has to do with unemployment? Here's a web site that explains why American cars help American people. It has to do with the number of parts used by the automotive industry that are made in this country and the number of people that are in research and development. Not just the assembly of these vehicles where foreign manufacturers make claims of being made in America.

We should seize all of the assets of top management of all companies and do this. That is the communist way.Tae from anybody that has and give some of it to the poor. Then what happens to the businesses? Probably close doors and then the government can take them over.
