George Galloway,or Gorgeous George, as he is known to elements of the UK media,is well known for being controversial!He isn't my cup of tea,though I see myself of the left.However for Canadian authorities to block his entrance into their nation is preposterous.Whatever Mr Galloway has done,to call him a security risk is plain silly.

The crime the conservative Canadian authorities seem to imply,is that he represents a lot of Muslims.As he is a member of parliament, for an area called "Bethnal Green",in London's east end,it is his duty to represent his constituency.A large minority, 30-40% of his constituents are Muslims.
Whatever his views are and some are contrary to my own,he is being unfairly victimized.Sure to cosy up to Saddam was unpleasant and he has done other things, that make him seem anything but a statesman.yet I for one ,hope he manages to beat the Canadian authorities in court.
