(BINGHAMTON, N.Y.) — At least four people were shot and as many as 41 people taken hostage Friday morning at an immigration services center in Binghamton, according to media reports.

At some point American attitudes need to change regarding gun control. The Founding Fathers knew only of the powder loaded musket. It would be nearly 75 years before the Gatling Gun and nearly 50 years to Samuel Colt's revolver. What would they think now! The NRA seems to think they know. But whose forming militias anymore except for wackjobs?

Hold on. An illegal alien gets a gun and shoots up a government office and your only solution is to ban hand guns from everyone? What would have happened if someone in the office had had a gun? I think the bigger question here is when is the local, state and feds going to get serious with the enforcement immigration laws? No illegal aliens, no one would have been shot. Build the wall, arm the borders if needed.

Name an incident with a law-abiding citizen with a gun registration.
You can't. Only criminals kill. Criminals always kill. Laws do not stop criminals. Our guns are not YOUR problem.
Why doesn't the press tell you about all the incidents each year where an armed citizen prevented a crime or successfully defended himself/herself with a firearm?
In a Georgia convenience store robbery a few years back, the robber drew a weapon. The husband and wife drew theirs. The wife was shooting and dialing 911 at the same time.
Scratch one robber. Human gene pool improved.
