Obama sees America as much less. Evidently he sees our country as bad and in need of his divine leadership, his super human wisdom because he is beginning to selling away our sovereignty. Our very right to govern as we so see fit according to our constitution means nothing to Obama.
No more constitution, no more founding fathers, because Obama thinks America is in such a horrible shape we need the far superior Europeans to bring us in to the New World Order!
Out with capitalism in with socialism. After all you will get free health care, maybe depending upon your age.
He has proclaimed war on our 1st and 2nd amendment rights, he has spent more money in his short time in office than has been spent since the time of George Washington until today.
How much more will our country loose before American's wake up and see this man is ruining our country.-

FTA-During this same conference, Obama officially announced the reduction in US nuclear weaponry, so that Iran will be more amenable to sitting down to talk with the US. In other words, he’s again announced to the world that the USA is no longer a threat to anyone—let alone terrorist.

What is the estimated number of nuclear weapons in the entire world?
The Center for Defense Information puts the number at about 22,000.
Of these, 10,500 belong to the US. (and 10,000 to Russia). So lets see . . .the US (and Russia) could eliminate 7,800 of these weapons, and still have twice as many (each) as the rest of the world combined.
That would be 15,600 less weapons that could end up in the hands of terrorists.-

Far to many Americans fail to understand subjects such as you, RedRiverJ, have commented on & you are one of them. For the last 30 years the USA has been reducing it's nuclear arsenal under agreements made with the USSR and other members of the nuclear club. We are dismantling old nukes as they become unstable and/or technologically out of date. Before then the USA had enough nukes to kill every human and destroy every nation on the planet over nine times. We now can only do this about seven times over. The reduction Obama proposes would lower that to 6 times over & rightfully so sense the nations capable of using nukes to destroy the USA has grown slimmer because of destroying nukes they own and our capability of intercepting missiles. One USA nuke sub has the firepower to kill every person in Iran, N. Korea and most other potential enemy nations. Iran knows this and so does NK - thus, they postulate only, knowing that if they ever did use a nuke they would be destroying themselves. . . . . Even our non-nuke weapons are horrifically destructive in power and accuracy today. One modern bomber carries more lethal accuracy than a flight of bomber in WWII. Instead of having to destroy a city to ensure the weapons factory is destroyed we can now pin point the weapons factory with little damage to civilian homes. . . . Obama is not making us any weaker by these concessions.

Thanks for taking the time to talk, Endoscopy.
I am very proud of many things about America, and that is the reason I think it is important for ALL Americans to politely point out when we threaten to (or actually do) stray from the path of being a country worthy of respect.
Simply asking of someone if they think the US has ever done anything wrong does not mean I am putting the country down. In fact, I think asking questions and discussing issues with other people, and especially our elected representatives, is the height of Patriotism. Frankly, I think people who say things like: "America, right or wrong", hurt our country.-

Thanks for replying.
How does one correct a child they love? By telling them what it is about their behavior that does not meet your approval.
Again, all I'm really saying is that criticism of our country by our citizens should never be an excuse to call them unpatriotic.
They may be wrong. They may even be arrogantly, hatefully, gleefully, wrong. But refute their facts, and don't just label them unpatriotic.

Thanks for the reply.
I look forward to discussing what mistakes President Obama makes, because all people make mistakes, even Presidents.
It's even possible that this expansion of the Financial Stability Forum into the Financial Stability Board is a mistake.
But even if it's a mistake, it is not the beginning of turning over US sovereignty to an international body.

I can't speak for all liberals, but I don't think President Obama is a god. I have no idea if his administration will be good or bad, since it's far too early to tell, at least for me.
I'm not even sticking up for him. I'm just trying to point out that accusing Obama of "selling out" our country is on a par with people who said President Bush's White House blew up the twin-towers.

Obama wasn't president the previous eight years..2.he has only been in office two months,not long enough for any of his proposals to take effect...

Bingo...I have not heard a single Democrat or Independent proclaim this man to be a god...the only ones mentioning it are the Republicans...and usually, I might add, the ones who have never admitted to any of Bush's mistakes, whatsoever.

Nope. I don't think he's a god, and I don't know anyone who thinks he's a god. This is a straw man...you are setting up a specious argument, and then arguing against it. I would be very interested in knowing just who these people are who have proclaimed the President a divine being...just one will do, in fact. 8)
