Those who vote Democrat are probably intuitive, following their heart, not their mind. I'd LIKE to follow my heart, but, my mind is stronger than my heart. I had a Sufi Muslim teacher who said I was using too much head knowledge and not enough heart knowledge. Because of that, my faith in Allah was lacking. Well, yeah, perhaps so. But, when you get burned for following your heart a few times, you start looking for other leaders.

I would guess that men and women are, overall, equal in intuition. For example, if we were to devise tests of intuition where it could be done in private, and the situation wasn't one which played to sex role expectations. But that's not the real world. So... women probably trust their intuition more, don't bury it so automatically in reason and rationalization, and are more willing to act on their intuition.
